Summer seminar in Stara Kamienica 2025
From 28 July to 3 August 2025 in Stara Kamienica we explored the secrets of aikido, kenjutsu, batto jutsu, and aikijo. Together, we worked on proper posture and appropriate responses to attacks. At the same time, everyone focused on what could currently help them most in their development.
Summer seminar in Paulhaguet 2025
We took part in a summer Aikido and Kenjutsu seminar in Paulhaguet, led by Pascal Durchon (6th dan) and Thomas Gavory (6th dan). Andrzej Bazylko (6 dan) was in charge of individual Kenjutsu and Batto jutsu training, and Didier Marsy (6 dan) was in charge of group Kenjutsu training.
Final year seminar - Puteaux 2025
From 30 June to 4 July 2025, another final year seminar took place in Puteaux under the guidance of sensei Pascal Durchon. Individual kenjutsu training was conducted by sensei Andrzej Bazylko. Aikido training was used to build confidence in oneself and in one's partner. The kenjutsu training sessions mainly covered aishin kumi tachi material.
XV National Technical Seminar 2025
From 31 May to 1 June 2025, we participated in the 15th National Technical Seminar, directed by sensei Hiroyuki Namba (7th dan) of the Aikido Aikikai Hombu Dojo. We saw sensei Namba's aikido with a firmly planted centre of gravity, high mobility, rotation around the axis and techniques in which the uke is unbalanced as if being pushed outwards on an expanding sphere.
Sensei Andrzej Bazylko in Łódź on 10 May 2025
Sensei Andrzej Bazylko directed another aikido seminar in Lodz. During the training sessions we focused on proper preparation and the right reaction to an attack. We drew attention to the importance of lowering the centre of gravity, shifting weight to the front part of the feet, relaxing the upper body and taking the attack in stride.
Pascal Durchon's seminar in Warsaw - 1 March 2025
"Travel in light" - travel lightly, without burden. Don't stiffen up, relax your upper body, work hard with your legs, use your hips. During the internship, we worked on performing them without using force. In addition, we studied tanto dori techniques.
sensei Andrzej Bazylko in Kielce on 1 February 2025
Another seminar by sensei Andrzej Bazylko in Kielce. The seminar programme included kumijo, jo dori and aikido training. We paid attention to a relaxed, loose grip on the stick, control of both ends of the stick, and practised stepping off the line of attack. We practised proper upright posture, upper body relaxation, lowering the centre of gravity and proper footwork.
Aikido and Kenjutsu in the Izera Mountains - Stara Kamienica 2025
Once again we invite you to Stara Kamienica, this time from 28 July to 3 August 2025, for the Aikido and Kenjutsu summer camp. A good time in good company, training and talking together, a break from the daily hustle and bustle. Budo for those who take it seriously.
Join us for our next meeting with Pascal Durchon - 1 March 2025
We would like to invite you to another meeting with sensei Pascal Durchon (6 dan), who will visit us for the 35th time. The trainings will take place on 1 March 2025 in Warsaw in Nastula Club Bielany at 9 Ogólna Street from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This time, we will practice, among other things, techniques of picking up a knife - tanto dori.
The seminar of sensei Andrzej Bazylko in Cracow on 26 October 2024
On 26 October 2024, we practised at the Onshin club in Cracow. At kenjutsu we concentrated on basic shomen uchi and kesa giri cuts. On aikido we paid attention to lowering the centre of gravity and converted horizontal movements into vertical movements.
