Pascal Durchon nominated for 7th dan

It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that Sensei Pascal Durchon has been nominated by the French Aikido Federation (FFAAA) for the rank of 7th dan. This is a well-deserved recognition of his high technical competence, vast theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as his outstanding achievements as a teacher. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to benefit from his experience knows how much contact with him contributes to the improvement of personal practice. Pascal is a source of constant inspiration, reflection, and a mine of ideas that help me and the students gathered around us to develop. With him, it is difficult to stand still. I have had the great honour of being his friend for many years, experiencing his support and companionship on the path of Budo. He helped me develop my aikido and get to where I am now. Congratulations, Pascal!

A big thank you to Christian Tissier, who trained me.
Like others, I have been fortunate to benefit from the tremendous technical, educational and human contributions he has made to our discipline and to those who have placed their trust in him.
His extraordinary career in the world of martial arts has propelled Aikido to prominence as a major discipline.

Many thanks to Yamaguchi sensei, an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

A big thank you to Pascal Norbelly, Arnaud Waltz and Andrzej Bazylko, for their friendship, but also for sharing
