We met again in Kielce for our annual seminar. As part of our kenjutsu training, we worked on cutting techniques. We avoided unnecessary swings, prolonging the cut, and tensing our muscles when raising the sword and cutting. We worked on maintaining the correct distance while performing Kihon Dachi kata, in which the attacker used a jo and the defender used a sword. We also paid attention to ensuring that the sword always preceded the body when making cuts. During aikido training, we worked on proper posture, balance control and movement.
