End-of-year seminar - Puteaux 2024

On the 1-5 July 2024, another end-of-year seminar, directed by sensei Pascal Durchon, took place in Puteaux. Individual kenjutsu trainings were directed by sensei Andrzej Bazylko. In the aikido classes, the emphasis was on creating a relationship in which the technique is a reaction to the attack and the ukemi is the direct effect of the execution of the technique. The idea was to avoid practising 'side by side' with each other, to stay in contact at all times and not to make any movements detached from what the tori, or uke, is doing. The kenjutsu training consisted of studying the attack that makes the kata possible. With the exception of the basic series, kihon dachi, the attacker and defender, without going beyond the scope of the kata, attempt to win.
